What is your product(s)?
Tripulse is all about sustainable, health-friendly, ethical and high-performing activewear. Our products are free from harmful microplastics, ethically made in Europe, and for all kinds of workout intensities.
For our first collection we’re using a Tencel, a wood fiber made from sustainably sourced forests and which is naturally breathable, resistant to bacteria and odor growth and which feels great on the skin.
Where were you with your idea or business before joining Factory45?
I already had the idea to start Tripulse and had done market research that had proven that I’m not the only one longing for activewear that is free from plastics like polyester. However, as I don’t have a fashion background and hadn’t built nor worked for a sustainable fashion brand before, joining Factory45 was a great decision.
How did joining Factory45 help you?
Joining Factory45 helped me so much in understanding the fashion industry, getting valuable contacts and learning about a product development process that really works in this very complex industry.
Shannon was guiding us step-by-step through the process of building a sustainable fashion brand both from the marketing and product development side which I have implemented for my own business. I also launched a successful Kickstarter campaign using a lot of the valuable advice I gained from joining Factory45.
In your opinion, what is the most valuable thing about Factory45?
Being given a clear process on how product development and brand building within the sustainable fashion industry works was extremely beneficial for me. Shannon went above and beyond answering the many questions I had and in great detail. I’m forever thankful for her support.
What were some big or small milestones that you hit after going through Factory45?
I’ve done a successful Kickstarter campaign reaching 110% of my goal and will launch my very first collection in just a few weeks time. I also had the chance to talk about Tripulse and sustainable activewear in various podcasts, was featured in sustainable fashion magazines and won the first prize in pitching Tripulse to the biggest fashion & textile incubator in Sweden. I have also onboarded some great people who have helped with some crucial work for Tripulse.
Please describe your business after Factory45.
I have built a great community, have received funding for my first collection via Kickstarter and my products are now getting produced. Official launch of our webshop on tripulse.co is planned for the end of March 2021.
