Where were you with your idea or business before joining Factory45?
I only had an idea when I started Factory45, and the program was my way of having a hand to hold me through the process for accountability.
How did joining Factory45 help you?
It provided the accountability I needed to carry-through starting a clothing line, and it walks you through step by step what is necessary to reach your goal.
In your opinion, what is the most valuable thing about Factory45?
I think all the information about pre-launch and building up your audience and marketing was very helpful. Also, the community has been a huge resource for when I have questions, need connections or just need to bounce ideas off others. In particular, I was having a really tough time finding a cutter for my production, and was given a referral by another Factory45 alum, and it was an incredible connection!
What were some big or small milestones that you hit after going through Factory45?
After Factory45, I was able to launch a successful Kickstarter campaign that exceeded our goal of $30,000, and go into production for our first collection.
Please describe your business after Factory45.
We’re looking ahead at expanding to our next collection and introducing new apparel categories.
